A Little About Me-
I am a passionate esthetician licensed both in New
England and Florida. My work encompasses many avenues such as promoting L.E.D. Photorejuvenation educational programs for esthetic schools, teaching, lecturing, and writing on modalities such as LED, Infrared Body Treatments, Anti-Aging, woman's health and wellness through nutraceuticals and alternative means.
As a frequent guest on Health Talk Radio I lecture on both skincare and anti-aging through nutrition and cutting edge ingredients. I have studied and have been involved with wellness measures for both humans and animals for over 20 years. Let's face it, it ALL begins from the inside of our bodies, and what we chose to do from the outside counts as well. I fully believe that knowledge is our greatest asset, which gives us the power to be successful.

Stop The Insanity
If you are like me, you are tired of overpriced products and devices. Why are some less expensive? Does that make them cheap? Do they work as well? If it is more expensive does that mean it is better? Pre-Paid cards have you paying ten times over for the equipment at the end of a year. I have a love/hate relationship with conferences and trade shows. I love the education, the new innovations, the protocols and exposure that makes me crazy and gets my adrenaline going. You can learn so much! What I do not like is that car salesman approach that confuses the heck out of the newly licensed estheticians as well as the seasoned therapists. Some sales people will tell you anything for the sake of the sale.....BEEN THERE! Have you? Sometimes even "I" still get dazed and confused because the options, choices and prices vary and are very inconsistent.
I know that in our industry we need to be confident in the services we offer, love and understand our equipment, and be savvy with the buying choices we make. I know all of you understand that to the highest level. So in my research and quest for answers I bring to the table my findings. I work with many skincare instructors and esthetic schools, many day spa owners and many fellow skin care therapists who understand the need for educated choices in equipment and continuing education on new modalities. In the next few pages I will share my experience with purchasing LED for my Spa and also how adding Infrared Body Treatments can skyrocket profits, add health, wellness, and fat loss treatments to your establishment.

Esthetic instructors agree, estheticians who use our equipment agree, and believe it or not, we have been complimented by other LED companies on what we offer. There are many excellent LED companies in the industry, we have seen them at the trade shows, in magazines and so forth. BUT if you can spend thousands less for the same technology with even better perks, the quicker you gain back investment and the quicker you make 100% profit. Plus you may be able to add more products to your retail line or another modality with the thousands of dollars you would have otherwise spent. In our present ECONOMY....we afford you the device.

One of the questions I am frequently asked is, "Why is it that I am only hearing about Quasar now, I have not heard of them before?"

Although we are looking to make appearances here and there at spa tradeshows for education and more exposure, we have not participated in trade shows because we have not had to. This is due to a very high percentage of our sales coming from referrals. Let's face it, in our industry when we love something it spreads like wildfire.
We tripled sales last year and will exceed our goals for this year. We love estheticians referrals, word of mouth is the best type of advertising. Heck I was one of them! I was initially a buying customer who delved into so many studies and researched so many companies to find QUASAR...and I told two friends and so on, and I said, hey wait a minute I want to spread the word.......One of my friends said I saved her from paying $6,000 more for her LED device. That made both of us happy! Now I promote the educational programs with a full course syllabus for students and teachers. Education is important, understanding the modality first and foremost.
As a matter of a fact, many instructors state that they have sampled and used LED equipment that was much more expensive yet did not yield the results and effectiveness that the Quasars achieved.
Is Quasar the end all - know all in LED equipment? Of course not. There are many excellent companies that offer LED. Every esthetician has to pick and chose what is right for them. BUT....make sure you make a sound, educated, fully researched decision on where your money is being spent. Be educated on the modality and enjoy your profession.
